You used topaz with delicacy, you got its edge work and its "criss-crossed energy lines" (my words, not topaz's); and you did it with real delicacy. The light on the flower is beautiful, and the dark pinks, et al, are quite inviting. A beautiful 'portrait', which you've surrounded in black, which makes it a solo piece. Beautiful.
