Description
Simon loved to play Bridge but, in the small town where he lived, only three people played at his level. As Fate would have it, they were his 2 ex-wives and his ex-girlfriend – The Three Witches as he referred to them. Nevertheless, every Monday and Thursday, he donned his courage (and a thick layer of skin) and went to play. Most of the time everyone concentrated on Bridge and left their claws sheathed, but every once in a while (like today), they let the fur fly and he ended up the focus of a lot of hostility. That’s why he always brought a big cigar, not to smoke, but to give him something to chew on to prevent him grinding all his teeth to nubs. The things he put up with for the love of Bridge.
This is one of my 2 a.m. ideas. I managed to get most of my vision on the screen but had to cut the detail fillers because of all the figures and clothing. Enjoy!

This one really made me smile: If I had 3 ex anyones in one room, I don't think I'd play Bridge with them, lol. Also, from some of the cigars I've known, all he'd have to do is take 2 puffs, and those women would be outa there in a New York minute. (My father smoked cigars that he later sold to the Pentagon as lethal weapons...) (I smoked some in college, and when we smoked them, birds fell from the sky...) Love the looks on these women: They're dressed beautifully, but ready to kill. Love the looks on their faces too. I guess they're getting back at him for past stuff. Great choice of outfits too. A really fun image about a really not-fun time. Really well done, Teri!

Great lighting and texturing. Simple but very intriguing scene that makes you wonder what's going on or about to happen. I especially like the expression of the lady in red. :)
Wouldn't have guessed this Simon was such a Don Juan until I read your comments. Well, if the 'Witches' do make things difficult for him, I'd think he deserved it! :P

Now, here I was expecting a horror story involving a bridge.... And witches.... Kinda like the Blair Witch Project...
Although it could be even a worse horror story for Simon! He's a glutton for punishment, it seems.... I never was any good at card games, and now I think I'm glad... LOL
A most delightful scene, Teri! 2 AM, huh? I get ideas at 2 AM frequently, but by the time I get up, I've forgotten them!
That's probably for the best....
