Enjoy the way you manipulated the shot, has a Erie feel like in a dream. Good job, Mark.

a lone duck adrift and seeking company. the whole image has a melancholy feel. that fits my own mood right now, too. nice work!

interesting and cool shot as well as that slight, every so slight touch of manipulation that heralds a second look.... and the second look said that this was very nicely done.

Impressive composition with the 3 to 1 ratio. Nice choice of image elements as well. And the desaturation adds a to the atmosphere.

Wow, I really like this work.

I waited for a moment for an arm with a sword to rise from the water.

Such a stunning place here. Love this pond and the bridge in the distance, the little mallard and the quiet mood.

Very nice capture and postwork Mark.

I'm drawn to the interesting symmetry patterns formed by those thin branches in the water & I also like the mood that the sepia tones create...

I had to laugh at Andrea's comment. It immediately brought to mind this line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail:
"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!"
Okay, now that I've got THAT out of my system ...
I like the IR effect you got with this. It's a terrific image with loads of mood. Beautifully done!

I zoomed to see the magic and I am blown away by the effect you achieved with this wonderful filter. The log and the duck make a great focal point on this very calm lagoon. :)

Very nice and quiet ! I want to be there. Looks like the duck likes it too.

This is a wonderfully dreamlike image, Mark. One could imagine the log in front center as being some kind of dragon-like critter swimming placidly away. Either that or you managed to capture Nessie in a lagoon in Chicago. Either one takes great photographic skill!

Beautiful I got instant peace looking into this amazing photo Mark. Cheers my friend have a top day

Fantastic photo elaboration !! The trunk that emerges in the water seems almost a prehistoric animal that tends to ambush the poor duck!
