Description

This picture nearly got titled 'this took nearly five hours to render' which it did- most of the wee hours between 12:00 and 5 am Friday to Saturday night. (ah and they said I didn't know how to live). I guess that is the price to pay for rendering it on my laptop. Even so, I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out.; Stonemason's forest and Dreamlight's lighting complete the scene.

No wonder such a long render time - soaking wet feathers! Try plucking the bird(?) before the next wet portrait. I have a very hard time accepting non-flying feathered dinos. But the fellow does look rather sympathetic. Raptor, you say? Hmmm.... Keep up the good work! :-)

Great pose and POV, the rain effects are very nice! Your rendering time was well-rewarded.
