I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Fabulous page, Rod. It seems that we now have two mysteries, what are those things and who sent them and the mystery of Ar's power. Keep up the great work

So wish I had all the props you use in this stellar kick azz series, Rod. Then maybe I could do more with a TNT series. Each segment is action packed and super. All the gals looks marvy and glad the gals are ok after that ambush. Looking forward to find out what they are and WHO sent them. Where did you get all the elements for this and all pages? Hope some of them are freebies. And will be waiting for the next action packed page. Not sure at this point when I joined here, I think 07. Love it my friend.

Another fantastic installment! All the work you did on panel 4 paid off because it is fabulous. I used to keep a steno pad beside me and I would write down the props as I added them to a scene. Now I have a FileMaker (version 11? 13?) program I created on my laptop that I use for that purpose. It has the added value of being able to search for things a lot faster than flipping through pages in the steno pad. It keeps track of creation date, post date, all the figures and props, who made them and where they came from. I know you probably need another program like a hole in the head, but this one I do recommend.

(You've been here since 2009? Congratulations! I joined just a little before you. They were just getting running water back then...) (also: You say you don't always remember what vendors you used? Ok, there was an old Second City bit about college grads sitting around, when some FBI guys banged on the door asking for everyone's student loans back. And, since the students couldn't give anything, the feds asked for their learning back...all their knowledge...so be warned: One of these days all those vendors, characters and objects are gonna storm your place and ask for all their art back. It'll be a dark day, my friend, so get those credits in order...)
To the piece. What an ending! So Ar is---what---infected with those green monsters? Are her hands turning to chrome? Lots of stuff going on in this installment! First, really packed frames! The first one, I love the angles and light and shadows, as a kind of counterpoint to the back-and-forth between the women. You captured the right visual rhythms for the scene. You do these extremely well, there's a real rhythm to these scenes.
You have a real line of action in 2---with A and G facing each other on the diagonal of the piece...maybe that's nit picking, but it's really fine composition. And those heads on the ground make great visuals! The 3d frame is a great closeup---just right, after the packed frames before. And I love the details in the outfits, and the closeup of that head. Plus the light from the sky at the top. (These outfits are a carnival for the eyes, it's a bouquet of great colors and forms and sexiness and movement.) Then a departure scene---also busy, with lots of little sub-conversations. (I really am impressed with how you do these complicated scenes, how adept you are at pulling them all together.) I like the deep red light of the ship interiors (frame 4), in contrast with all those grays. And the different outfits make a great variety across the frame.
Finally, the last frame: That deep red glow makes it all end in an intimate way; something about that hue that feels like we're finally able to rest in a private space...And there's a kind of "L" form of G4, who's shape frames the characters (body and legs: an "L"). And her foot points to Ar (good composition again!) You manage a lot of emotions and colors and outfits in these frames: A lot of stuff harmonized together. I get a headache thinking of what it must be like to make these frames whole, and then weave them into a single installment. It's all extremely well done, Rod, and the women look great, their forms and outfits are in top form, and you ended it leaving your readers wondering, "what the---???????" (I can't help but think of those old movie-serial narratives: "Will she rip off her mask and turn out to be the wicked witch of the west? Will she turn into green chrome? ((Ever see "Green Slime"? Maybe the worst movie since the dawn of time...)) For this and other answers, tune in next week for another installment of...cue the organ music...blah blah blah...) Masterfully done once more, Rod!

An amazing page of chapter 6 with fabulous scenes and details. I am impressed with all the characters you use they look superb. Great posing, lighting and outfits and the expressions tell their own story. You have managed to keep me enthralled and of course I will be following with interest all the exploits. I can see you are going to have a full time retirement and we are all going to enjoy it with you. Outstanding work, you've made my day. :)

Oh, my! This has sure brought on a few PhDs or whatever we should call them! I wonder what's with Ar's arms? Solution in next post? Keep up the good work, Rod. By the way, there's a figure "La Donna" by KaiZ, sadly unavailable. She's a bit round. May be something for you? I'll post some images. Keep up the good work! :-)
