Description

Several weeks had passed and Darlene knew she had a workplace stalker, but he had become a bit more careful for several weeks to avoid being detected so easily. Today was different though. She didn't know why, but the past week he had started to return to his old practice of keeping a set distance behind her and he had stopped darting off other directions when she would stop and look back towards him. Today was different though. He didn't just continue to follow her, but actually approached her when she stopped by the old tree, which was her custom to do. Without thought to see what it was he might say though, she quickly turned to him arms flailing and voice raised: "Why are you following me?" And she paused for a second, caught her breath, and before he could muster up any sort of nerve to answer, continued: "Why don't you stop it; please stop it!" He stood there for another moment, looking a bit like a deer in the headlights of a big speeding truck, then said; "I'm really sorry, I really am." He paused for another moment they continued; "My name is Brian and this is difficult for me to say; but, I work on the third floor, and I see you walk by everyday, and I just think you're so beautiful, but I could never catch up with you in the building, and was a bit afraid to talk to you. Darlene seeing how he was actually trembling felt bad for her outburst and offered an apology to Brian. Being quite flattered too that someone would go to such an extent to try and meet her, she gave an informal introduction and offered to share the walk back if he was interested. Darlene felt if someone was so interested in her, after all, she wasn't anything like a supermodel, the least she could do is find out if they were actually a nice guy and if she might be interested in them too. After that day, they spent several days a week walking together at lunch getting to know each other better. Brian built some confidence in himself, and Darlene realized that not every guy that appears creepy is a creep. Thanks for viewing my little two render story.
