This picture shows part of the cockpit of a Vautour aircraft, the one described in the previous posting. The pilot is not seen from this point of view; his seat is partially visible on the left side of the picture. The female character at the forefront is Monique who is the Big-Feet navigator under the command of the pilot. The map of the destination area is displayed on her screen : a sand-filled crater known as the Termites' crater. That crater was formed 25 million years ago and it is now the location of a research center. It is early morning after a long night's flight; Michette is trying to awake Ionivka in preparation for the upcoming rough landing.
