I suppose the determination of who is Elric and who is not, is entirely open to the interpretation of the artist creating him...The only person I'd suppose who would know what ELRIC really looks like is Michael Moorcock...However, this vision of Elric, is among the best out there....It was this very picture, that stunned and awed me over a year ago, and spurred me on to create better work...It was and is still an amazing piece of work. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you everyone for all your kind comments. 'xplode' had me panicking for a while. I dug out the old pz3 file of Elric just to make sure I wasn't going crazy... I see how he has interpreted the right 'pinky' but it doesn't go into the sword at all. phew!!! It seems to be a bit of an illusion caused by the bump map on the glove and the texture on the sword. Thank you all again...Colm...

Fascinating image of perhaps the most fascinating character in all of sword and sorcery fiction. The tragic hero, protagonist, and arguably evil. Truly a one of a kind. If this be not one Elric, Prince of Melnibone, then let the real Elric step forward and finger this imposter!
