Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive. All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Like them wings, great looking character.

I don't see how they can help this beauty fly. But they do look like they could help her climb a cliff. Lovely render.

You've got to start feeding your girls more, Mike! She's just skin and bones (Yeah, well someone had to say it!!!!!)

Wonder where she found the wings!!!
DukeNukem2005
Very good!

She seems to be walking across some sort of liquid surface and the reflection of her feet is just perfect. You really do know your stuff.

She must have magical powers to be walking on water, maybe the power is hidden in those very creative wings. Excellent work. :)
bakapo
she walks on water! I like the blue bone wings.

Very cool, Mike!

Like the rippling water floating just above the beautiful white sandy beach.
Just like little sand bars for a very long way out before the water rises more than above ones ankles.
When I was young we went to a Beach just like this and my parents didn't have to worry about us kids drowning, well done.
Her wings are gorgeous and like how she walks so gracefully with them on.

If only we could walk on water..This is excellent

You have to imagine never having done 3D, and coming across concepts like "shaders": I know they go back to earlier graphics, and they're used for shade (duhhhh!), but it's so foreign to anyone who's never done 3D, and who's shaded with the side of a freakin' pencil! You've always done very musical shading, it flows in and out of light, musically. And this model (steph?) (if she gets a cold, will she have a 'steph infection'?) (sorry) this woman has a very poised pose, like she's a professional model. And you chose deep rich blue for the wing:. See, there's your color sense again: you just stick in colors no one would expect, and they totally burst in the image. Another delight.

Lovely composition!!!

She's definitely a cutie, although I'd be a little cautious of those spiky wings of hers. I imagine she can use them quite effectively if the need arises.
Very good work with the shaders, Mike!
