Very cool jars with wonderful textures and very unusual colouring. I love how you play with the ordinary and come up with extraordinary. Very well done. 😀

makes me think of ancient times - what do these jars hold? What secrets lie within....

People should take care not to open these Dream Jars, if they dont want to see the truth, because that is what you get. A dream. Not from your fantasy, but from the not always so pleasant truth. Maybe you can find the truth in those, but you will maybe also find a truth, you were more happy to be without. Take the bitter with the sweet or let these Jars alone. Donno where that came from either LOL! Love your Jars, dear Mark :D

This is awesome, Mark! I love the textured look, as if these jars have been hiding their secrets for centuries in some long forgotten cave, just waiting to be discovered. Excellent, my friend - you have many talents!

As I was scrolling around, I saw this image and it captured my interest right away. I'm going from oldest to newest, and am so excited to have finally got to this one, since I've been admiring it from afar, as it were, for days. I recognize the bamboo, and I think it gives the image the perfect finishing touch. The pots appear to be from your cross-hatching days, and I believe I see a Lake Michigan wave. The layering, the depth, is what creates that sense of age and mystery. It's like layering ingredients in cooking. Not in a seven-layer dip way, but in a blending, melding, merging way. That's the effect you got with this, and it's as satisfying as a flavorful dish.
