Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

A great collection of this young face. The original is so well painted Helle but the others are really interesting too and give a different perspective. I love having fun with my photos too just for a different look. You sound to have had a happy day even though the weather doesn't sound that great. We have a dull overcast day with no rain but it isn't cold about 12C. :)

I like the various treatments you have given his face.

Wonderful series of portraits, Helle! you're having so much fun with Topaz. Experimentation is great fun, isn't it? LOL Delightful, my friend!

Ok, I have Topaz and haven't used it ... I need to go in and see what this can do. Nice samples ... I like the varied effects.

Ha! I see you've converted Boni. :) This is a great way to look at some of the Topaz filters side-by-side. What a great idea! I generally cycle through a few to see what I want, and then just pick one. It's based only on my mood, because most of them look pretty good, as shown by your collection of four versions of the original!

Fantastically well done my friend !!!

I totally remember the original, and I love the yellows as highlighting, and the oranges too (with some olive greens). And those deep blue eyes as focal point and contrast: I love the original. Then (moving left), a pencil-like variation, with intense grain and more outlines (the eyes---deep blue in the original---are now much clearer and stark). The next one is Pink-time! (He's had a bad sunburn...) Lovely pinks and reds, and a lot of grain too, this really is like a Warhol study---I know many people aren't big fans of his, so please don't take that as an insult: I love how warhol varies an image over space, and this pink one reminds me of the kinds of variations he would do. A fine choice after the black and white...Then a smudgy, dirty version---dirty as in he's been in the mud, or digging a ditch. You put in lots of olive tones, and washed them over, as with watercolors. And your background is a pale blue green. Finally, a smudged pastel version, with lots of greens, and lots of shadow. A more inward portrait, though you have some beautiful glowing highlights. Beautiful transformation, Helle, I love how you've played with the original; and the original is a visual delight to begin with...

Splendid variations, Helle. 67C here or there about, for the future weeks or so, with no rain in sight.
