Description
MB3d using ia-du-lin's On The Exoplanet as a starting point. thank you, ia-du-lin!
I pushed all kinds of buttons and changed camera views and angles and it still looks a lot like the original.
I liked this view, so I thought I'd share it anyway.
thanks for looking!

Very interesting. It's like looking into another reality. I know nothing about fractals and creating them...never had the time to get involved. Look forward to your next venture into this art form...

all I'm thinking is that I should keep away from this or I'll find it latching onto my face with some sort of tube going down my throat...
great work

You have created a very unique looking starfish fractal here and I'm sure you had fun. Excellent work. :)

Some interesting stuff down underneath....A tip, volumetric lights very rarely work out front of Objs they need to be behind(best) or above(sometimes works)
rhol_figament
A cool find you have there on the bottom of the fractal sea...

Lovely work!

lol, Mike...I think he's seen too many alien films recently...this really feels 'real', the light on the protrusions is almost ceramic-like, and your "sand" is very grainy and gritty and real. And you have what looks like water pushing its way into the shot (the ham!) Then, those typically fractal repetitions in the sand---the little 'mini' starfishes---are very realistic too. A terrific piece of work, it's both fractal and a sea photo...with strong light and shadow. I love this. Not sure I'd like it in my living room, but I love it!
(I mean I'm not sure I'd like the creature in my living room! The art, like all your art, I'd love to have...)

Beautiful creation. Thank you, too.
