Description

Was a 1 hour render. Testing some new lights. Brought into PS for lighting/color correction. Me hopeth you liketh...:-D

Beautiful portrait.

The exceptional detail here raises an open question; I wonder if some skin textures are too detailed? If this was a photographic portrait, you'd almost never see skin pores in such definition...almost like an eggshell.

That's by the by though, it doesn't take away from an outstanding piece of work.

I think that's the irony in some digital art. We try so hard to emulate real life by enhancing the details, including flaws, and avoid the perfect looking skin (even perfect is a hard word to define, no? ) to the point that we overemphasize them, while in real life, people airbrush and manipulate photographs until the flaws disappear and the models are doll like.

That said, thanks a lot for your kind words, it's still a long journey, and hopefully somewhere along the way we'll hit that sweet spot and do a render that is 'just right'

She might have blond hair or red or brown or black - it doesn't change the fact, that she's drop death beautiful and always has eyes as blue and as deep as the sea. If you fall in, you will drown. Very beautiful render
