I went to your rooms and the cleaning maid said you were here at the Archwizard’s home.” Kargaz: “I have been rather busy tidying up loose ends, Isildra, on the Archwizard’s orders. I was just about to come and see you, you know.” Isildra: “I don’t know. And just who is this, Kargaz? Is she your latest conquest? Living with you, I presume?” Kargaz: “Now look, Isildra, I can explain everything.” Silvanu: “And if I was, so what? I’m staying at his place till I find suitable accomodation.” Isildra: “And, Kargaz, my dear, can you explain all the rumours I hear about you and the President of the Time Council? Just you and her alone?” Kargaz: “Rumours exaggerate, Isildra; she found my company amusing.” Sivanu: “Is this another of your ex-girlfriends, Kargaz? I thought you’d have better taste; that outfit is very old-fashioned!” Isildra: “ Old-fashioned? It is the latest design - but perhaps you prefer to walk round half-naked? I certainly do not!” Kargaz: “Girls, girls - calm down! There’s no need for all this bickering. Let me walk you home, Isildra.” Isildra: “No thank you, Kargaz. I know where I am not wanted. I shall leave you to this trollop and your Presidential floozie. But you’ll rue the day you threw me over, Kargaz, leaving me to sit waiting, agonising over your fate and longing for your return. You’ll learn what it is to be the object of my revenge! No man spurns me, Kargaz, and gets away scot-free!.” (Turns on her heel and leaves the room.) Silvanu: “Charming little madam, Kargaz; you know how to pick them.” Kargaz: “You didn’t exactly help, sniping at her dress like that.” Silvanu: “I speak as I see, Kargaz. You should be used to that by now. You’d better watch your back, Kargaz; that spiteful little minx might cause you a lot of bother.” Kargaz: ”Oh she’ll be alright as soon as she calms down.” (Well, we'll see about that ...)
