Like all the elements you've added to the scene--it's interesting and somewhat mysterious. Excellent compositing.

you really are telling tales with your mixed media work, and they feel 'archetypal' in that they seem to have ancient storylines: The birds to the left feel like they're messengers of some sort---they're there for a reason---the swan seems to have a purpose in this tale too (it just wouldn't "happen by"---that's how it feels to me); the long pier feels like it's taking us somewhere; and the moon feels like a magic glass orb behind that wonderful mist. Then there are pumpkins (!), and a chest, etc. And finally, the star of your piece, the woman: dressed in 19th C garb---she could actually be an American on a ferry boat, who's about to go below deck and play cards! Great choice of gown and that great hat and walking stick and lantern. We don't know where these tales are going to wind up, but you capture such presence in-the-moment, you make it crystal clear that they're definitely going somewhere. Wonderful imagination in these, Barb. A whole world in each one...
