Description

This restaurant is a converted railroad car. It is situated directly across the Historic Railroad Park in Wwillcox, about 1/2 mile from the I-10 Interstate. Anyone that stops for gas, or stays in any of several motels or eats at the restaurants scattered close to the freeway will never discover this place - and that's the way the locals like it. People may stay in Willcox overnight when they go to the Chiricahua National Monument or the Dragoon Mountains to visit the Cochise Stronghold. BTW, this last summer it became known that a Jaguar had been spotted at the Dos Cabezas Mountains, about 10-15 east of Willcox. For about two years or so it was known that there is a Jaguar in the Huachuca Mountains, south of Fort Huachuca just north of the Mexican border, a third Jaguar has been known to exist in the Santa Rita Mountains, south of Tucson and about 10-12 miles NNW of Patagonia. The Santa Rita and Huachuca Mountain Jaguars are males, the sex of the Dos Cabezas Mts. Jaguar is not known. All three cats set off motion detectors that tripped cameras. The motion detectors were installed to catch smugglers, who smuggle drugs or humans. The agencies that track these kinds of things, Border Patrol, Game and Fish and the Forest Service will not disclose the locations where the cats have tripped the motion detectors, to protect them. This picture was taken on 11 November 2017, Sig...

That's pretty cool that jaguars are hanging out there. I'd love to get a picture of something like that. (From a safe distance, of course.)

That's why they are not disclosing the locations. Besides, these mountains don't have hiking trails or are easily accessible!
