This was my first 'learning Cycles' & 'fun-with-mcjTeleblender3'-scene about ~two years ago.^^
> Terrain & Grass made in C4D CE+6, exported as .obj and imported into D|S 4.7/.8
> plantobjects are mostly old(er) Poserprops (Traveller/Modualz/TransPond .. former @RDNA, now partially @DAZ)
> surrounding Sky/Environment (LDR; used for Enviro-Lighting too) made in Terragen 0.9.43
> LensFlare rendered as separate layer in C4D CE+6 and composited in Photoshop
> Scene-Setup in D|S; transfer via mcjTeleblender³, (re)shading and rendering for/in Blender/Cycles 2.76b
> Lighting: one Distant-Light (Sun) + Environment (Sky) + veeery discreet Ambient Occlusion (to lit up darker areas a little bit)
> Rendering: Pathtracing 512/1024 Samples + Compositor-Nodes (Glare & Vignette)
> Postwork: Lensflare-Layer-Compositing; 'decorations' (Border/Logo/Signature), discreet image sharpening
