Description

This fat bumblebee was swinging on a Foxglove flower in our garden. I have manipulated it, and made the bee even more fat. Thank you very much, dear friends.

You've turned an impressive photo into a even more stunning 'print'. You've made the flower petals like Van Gogh (another of your country-men, along with Rembrandt and so many others). (Such magnificent painters!) I love the brushwork. And the bee fits in perfectly, with all his prickly hairs and textures. You captured an amazing sight: This foxglove looks like the surface of another planet...or like a bunch of lily pads floating on the water. (Well, brown lily pads...) Very imaginative work; and you made the bee stand-out from everything else, which I assume wasn't easy to do...beautiful.

Fantastic colors, lighting, textures and details in this wonderful piece Mies.

You have made the bee stand out so well among the field of manipulated petals.
