I just love a real fire in my room in the evenings. I was taught how to make it and use only one match as a small girll, a skill I still have. The secret is to always have the chimney swept in the summer to maintain a strong updraught and safety. A different one Here

Not only warmth but mystery and humanity's first moving pictures. I can see why people see images in the flames. Just above the logs at the left of the image is a flower.

Really can't beat the warmth of a real fire and dancing flames.

We have second best two artificial fireplaces that give us a great deal of enjoyment.
