Description
My muse ran away with the mailman
Without so much as a sigh
She deserted and left me empty
And now I just want to cry
No quips or cute one liners
No poems, no art, or words
My heart and mind are empty
Except for a few useless blurbs
The harder I try the worse it gets
And somewhere deep I know
She’s out there laughing at me
With the glee I used to show
So if I should seem grumpy
And get a little short
Just remember that damn muse of mine….
Who stole my best retort!
If she should ever come back
I’ll welcome her with glee
And begin again my art stuff-
Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
This is an old poem, so you can see that this happens to me a lot this time of year. LOL I'll have a little pity party and get back to normal soon
