Description

"Was Gwenhwyfar (Guinevere) - King Arthur's queen, an alien? Would we have known? It's common knowledge that aliens often use their ability to project themselves as humans in service of a grand scheme. Perfectly plausible, along with the Lady in the Lake. Did Lancelot know her secret? Hence the betrayal of her husband King Arthur. Perhaps the machinations of that ancient alien scheme play out to this day, here on our planet." I love to juxtapose ancient settings and people with modern technology or situations, like in this traditional portrait of an alien high-born female wearing a formal Arthurian dress and jewels. Thanks to Josh Crockett for creating his amazingly evocative alien figures and allowing my imagination to run wild! Hope you like it. Fascinating alien character. And maybe King Arthur himself was an alien? Interesting theory.

An intriguing tale and not entirely out of place with the Arthurian legends. The sword Excalibur itself might well have been a piece of alien technology made to resemble a king's sword. And then again,as Clarke would say, and far advanced technology would seem like magic to us. Which brings us to Merlin... or perhaps The Doctor as he is sometimes named in other tales.
