This image is included in my 2018 calendar available at Zazzle. I also have updated my 2017 calendar to 2018 and it is also available for purchase. The Qilin or Kirin is a mythical creature known in Chinese and other East Asian cultures and is said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler. It is a good omen and thought to occasion prosperity or serenity and is often depicted with what looks like fire all over it's body they come in many different forms earth, air, water, and fire.
