Description

Fiona: “You have to escort these two bots, do you, and just where to?” Kargaz: “To the Time Council, Fiona.” Fiona: “Oh, the one that happens to have a lady president? How nice for you both.” Kargaz: “Actually it’s these two who will be visiting her, not me. I won't be calling on her.” Fiona: “Unless, of course, she requests your presence? And just how long will you be away this time, dear?” Kargaz: “Not long at all, we hope.” Fiona: “And you’d like me to wait here, all patient and understanding, till you manage to tear yourself away from her and get back to me?” Kargaz: “Of course, Fiona.” Fiona: “You know, Kargaz, dear, the Captain’s looking for a new midshipman to act as his personal assistant? And, moreover, strange as it may sound, midshipmen can also be women.” (She smiles) “I think I see an opportunity to improve my career prospects considerably.” Kargaz: (to himself) especially wearing that short frock. Fiona: “So you may take all the time you like to visit your lady president, Kargaz, my sweet, but don’t count on finding me sitting here, all lonely and disconsolate, sighing and longing for your return.” Kargaz: “We’ll be off, then.” Fiona: “You know the way out, pal.”
