Love the intense "caravaggio" lighting, and the deep reds and yellows, against all that darkness. (I see a man with a knife on the left side---these people better keep their eyes wide open tonight!) The woman is lit beautifully, and I love the bowing man---he looks like a monk, almost. The light on him comes right out of Renaissance painting---again, Caravaggio comes to mind, with his chiaroscuro. And a horse with beautiful, spare lighting too.
A very suggestive and beautiful image, with a feeling of menace just around the corner...very well done, Nicola!
