At first, thank you for the nice comments and favorits to my last Image:TFLWPT - The first Word.
It means a lot to me!
Just at the time Ragnor was born, Skryrmir lost his left eye during a raid.
He always liked to tell his son Ragnor that he had sacrificed his eye to Odin at that time because he did not want Odin to bring his wife and child with him at this difficult birth. Ragnor's siblings could confirm that, because when Ragnor was born, her father appeared one-eyed.
Honestly, as an adult you should not tell your child this way. For secretly Ragnor felt guilty that his father was only called "Skryrmir one-eye".
The healer Ylva advised Skyrmir to always have someone with him in the raids who protects his blind side.
The resourceful Nordmann came up with something. He first selected a wolfhound, and set him up so that he did not leave his side even in battle. Managarm was the first dog. Later he took a second dog. You never saw him again without his impressive dogs.
