Last week, the love of my life lost her battle with her cardiac failure problem. I am devastated; I miss her deeply. She has provided so much happiness in my life; she is irreplaceable. I felt privileged to have been with her at the time of her death; a difficult experience that I will never forget. I felt that such an event will eventually happen, but when it comes, it is always traumatizing and we always feel unprepared. This eventual event inspired me in depicting Ionivka experiencing the death of Marc from the effects of a high dose of neutrons that he had absorbed months before. Emotionally, it is what I went through ... for days. From my spiritual experiences (including the agnostic and atheist phases), I concluded that we live now in a physical universe, where our soul (the essence of a human being) has a chance to develop "spiritually" in order to be ready for the next universe (also identified as a spiritual universe). We can willfully develop our soul by becoming "humane". Indeed, we are able to express, at a much lesser level, all the attributes of God, but it means selflessness. It is at that level that we reach spiritual happiness on Earth, ready for "heaven". Think about it. Neglecting our intellect will bring us to the hell of ignorance; neglecting our soul will bring us to the spiritual hell. Think about it.
