Another of your 'around the bend' pov's, which are so dramatic and contrast-filled, and which have real sweep---defying the 'staid box' of the photographic frame. The dark stone in front (or hardened lava, whatever it is) is this big 'statement' just sitting there like a king. Then you have those bright honey tones and blazing yellows on the other side, which seem to be swerving like lava into the background. All that is sandwiched by a smattering of more dark stone in the right-background. And the sky is a dark, brooding affair, casting an ominous feeling over the whole. Beautifully done. You do these sweeping curving povs with mastery and panache, Claude. I love your series, because it allows us to go deeply into a place you've seen. While I"m not commenting on all of your Yellowstone pieces, I've seen them all and they are an immersing, vibrant series.
