via your analyzing the hues into separate 'colonies', you've turned the scene into a very vivid print, flattening the areas and rendering edges into busy fussy electrified tassel-ends and dripping-paint ends. A vivid and full image, and just as satisfying as the original. The fence's random-feeling blobs and splotches remind me of some of the Coke bottle paintings by Warhol: How he distributed the coke in all kinds of impossible configurations, up and down the bottles. Beautiful work, Claude.
(Here's one of the Warhols---a small print, but it'll do: Look at the bottom 3 rows: He's skewed the drink all over the place, making a piece as much about 'process' as about Coke. I know people who hate his work, but I love it---for this very reason. You're in a much more vivid hue-realm, of course; but form-wise, you have something in common with pieces like this. Sorry for the tiny jpg, but I'm sure you've seen your share of Warhol...https://i.pinimg.com/originals/22/c8/78/22c878097d320104cf2047d9b0154e01.jpg)
