Made from the wood of a tree found on only one planet near the center of the Milky Way galaxy, the goal is simply to disassemble the device. However, unlike simple puzzles from Earth, the Somnambulant is held together by an adaptive quantum numen interlocking field that responds to the mental capacity of the player. A level two mind (most Terrans) may be able to dismantle the puzzle, but will learn nothing significant from it. A level three mind will be able to disassemble the puzzle in a different way that reveals information about history. The more powerful the mind, the deeper and more detailed the visions.
