My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Where did you find an old penny-farthing? Odd looking bicycle but great for anyone with a death wish. Nice crop but the door on the right is a bit distracting.

Great shot and wonderful PW on it. He is an inspiration to all of us. Mark is amazing when it comes to camera/postwork as well as his writing. I can't wait to see what you post next

You have taken this from a great POV, and it is funny how different an image can be with help from another set of eyes.:)

Well, I think you took a great bit of inspiration from Mark and ran with it, Tara. This is quite lovely.
Hmmmm..... "pictures I've never posted because they suck." Jeeze..... I must have 3 hard drives, 25 blu-ray discs, a footlocker, two closets, a tractor-trailer, and a couple BNSF boxcars full of those. Perhaps I should do a bit of excavating....

That's a big wheel.

Thank you for your very kind words, and for honoring me by putting up a transformation of my transformation. See, you did have a 'decisive moment' in these. (I thought a lot more of them than you did; they may not have been like that lake shot you posted for Jacomina, but they still had magic deep inside.) Anyway, your angle here---which is what I assume you wanted when you shot it---makes this a strange metallic web, or some strange spoked creature, brought out by the angle and the stark white. (My version had more colors in it, I think; this allows the abstract forms to speak more clearly.) And yeah, the door does add a certain necessary punctuation mark to it, which is why I assume you included it in the original. I loved playing with your way of seeing things, and I was thrilled when you shared our talk with your fans. One of these days soon I'll pile some so-so's on you, and you can see how it feels, lol. Only mine really won't have ANY decisive moment, and we'll see what you do with them...

lovely graphics and POV

I love the perspective. And for some of us the "penny-farthing" is of some symbolic significance.
Well, I'm going to say it if no one else has.. "I am not a number!".
