I'm not sure if the elf is the help, and he's come to save the day; or if he's caught with that broken ornament, and he's asking us for help...but either way, it's a delicate little moment in the life of Christmas decorations (and spirits), caught with some breakage, and looking to us for some help. Something out of the Nutcracker...delightful, with a winsome and perhaps gently pleading elf, saying, "can you lend a hand?"
