Description

I shot this one during a trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. It's a fantastic town. Its Colonial Spanish streets and buildings date from centuries ago and it looks pretty much like the pictures I've seen of certain Mexican towns in California . It's all so old and so well-kept and it surrounds you in such a way that it displaces your sense of time. I didn't have any serious plans when I shot this. Now, when I look at it, the photo seems to whisper to me something elusive about time, loss and death. That's why I like it. One of the shadows is me, the other is my beloved wife. Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching.

I like this very much. I like the story behind it even more. It tells me a lot about that town. Makes me want to get out there and travel more. Thanks for sharing.

Nice pic...so simple, but something that elicits so many different feelings.
