Description

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/interstellar-asteroid-looks-like-a-spinning-space-cigar/ reported of a spatial cigar shaped object from another star system. after a little digging I discovered it to be from an alien space ship within a large comet. the aliens are using the comet's raw materials to construct the exploration vessels to explore our solar system

Nice interpretation...I suppose all the conspiratorial nutcases will have their hysterical hay-day over this discovery...

Could also be the exterior view of a wormhole, maybe? :)

All the very best to you this holiday season and for 2018!

Looks like polished marble with a prehistoric tubular creature embedded in it. I've seen this type in marble floors but not as elaborate as in this photo. Nice of you to take the photo - rather rare. Keep up the good work! :-)

It's the First Order... I just know it... 😆 No worries... The way that thing's tumbling, they won't be able to stand up when they land!

This is very cool, Richard!

great manipulation---it looks like a pole underwater...whatever it once was, you created this underwater light---dappled, and with lots of shadow---and that wonderful swirling cylinder in the center, surrounded by silvery rock with the most beautiful light and shade. Very fine creative work; and, just as an abstract, it's beautiful.

Richard, I'm at 50 minutes, but I think I commented on 12 images, and I have to move on (as I'm only here for a few days and I want to get to other galleries). But it's a pleasure, as always, and I wish you a wonderful holiday season and a splendid new year. And thank you for all your kindness in my gallery throughout the year: I appreciate every bit of it, esp given how fine an artist you are. All the best, Mark
