I guess this could be classified as American Folk Art...could this have been painted on an interior wall of a building that had been torn down...it is charming, with its little RR and train, lake scene...nice catch...

Very cool shot of this great find, Richard! Too bad it's deteriorating like this, but as you said it still has plenty of character.
