Description
every year the birds migrate to this same area. there are three convenience stores, 6 restaurants in the immediate area. they call them "bird brains" for not being very smart, but how does a small creature navigate each year back to the same area.
of course 1000's visit Walmarts each year also.

Amazing the internal clocks on animals and their navigation systems that serve them over thousands of miles! An interesting scene! A place you would not want to park your car near! LOL! Great capture, Richard!

Incredible capture...Shades of "The Birds." Birds are not at all stupid...just another idiotic human belief...like your comment about Walmarts :)

3 convenience stores and 6 restaurants in the area - all of which have dumpsters full of food scraps.... Perhaps embedded in their collective memory? It is truly amazing how these creatures can navigate to the same areas year after year. No GPS needed.
Cool shot, Richard! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
