Or the Piasi, as called by the Illini indians living in the Altona region of the USA. The Piasi lived in a cave with over 15 feet depth of human bones. They were finally killed by poison arrows by a daring chief. To remember the deed, the Illini made 2 huge petroglyphs, which were unfortunately destroyed in 1848 on orders by a bigoted prison chief. Fortunately, the petroglyphs were copied by French missionaries during the late 1760s and sent to Paris. But, todays "scientists" claim it's all Indian poppy-cock (more bigotry!).
