OMG, what a fabulous birthday card, Helle! I can't tell whether that is a photo or a painting, but it's a beauty either way. The reds, browns, detail and overall effects really stand out in this tour de force. What a wonderful dedication for my 90th birthday, and I'm glad you remembered. My health was so bad and touch and go this year that I often wondered if I would make it to 90. That said, I wish you a better year of health than you have been experiencing. Getting old isn't for sissies. Thanks again, young lady.

Harry loved this, and so do your other commenters, and so do I! The reds here are gorgeous, and you have them contrasted with golds (in the reflections) and deep bright yellows (in the candles---man, those are luminous candles!), and a few other places. And it's all so open, while also being an intimate interior shot. Your choice to frame it in 3 reds---again a beautiful saturated border---is perfect. A beautiful image for Harry, filled with uplift and light; and your words are beautiful too. Great job on this, Helle. And Happy Birthday Harry, and many, many more! I hope your 2018 is as bright and eye popping as this image is!
