Description

Thanks for all your support and replies! Mulk stepped onto the bridge, green blood dripping behind him. Glancing around the room he saw his friends, some were tense, almost shaking, Peenk and Ano still crying. "Everyone, please. It's going to be ok. Josh is sleeping now." "Is something wrong with Joshua?" Everyone turned to Baby, who was standing in the passage, trembling with fatigue. Magenta put her arms around her and lead her to one of the seats. Tek'Mal made her lean back. "Girl, you should not be up!" The green skinned Twi'lek said softly. "The Dance takes too much out of you." Baby looked at the woman in armor standing next to her. "Have you ever done the Dance?" "You bet," The older woman said as she kissed Baby's forehead. "I was sixteen, and it was magic. As it was supposed to be." Baby nodded, a smile on her lips as she watched the ship leave Concord Dawn's atmosphere. "Where's Zell?" Everyone looked around, frantically. "Oh no!" Magenta said. Zell was walking down the street to the location of the Republic governmental offices when he was run over by a very large, very drunk Gamorrean. When he tried to get up, the pig like creature shoved him back down. "Little Human, you should not have done that. Me teach you lesson to respek great Gamorreans," The young Ratataki heard and felt his ribs breaking as it's boot connected, and he was thrown several feet. Zell felt rage begin to build, filling his mind with cruel thoughts. But just as suddenly, the rage was replaced by calm. Looking up he saw the boot now slowly inching toward his head. Zell easily moved aside. Then with a leap, he was on the gamorrean, grasping it's right ear in his left hand, while delivering three blows to the top of it's ugly head with the side of his other fist. The fat being's eyes rolled back into it's head and it fell over. Leaping off, he found himself landing at the feet of three more Gamorreans. Zell thought he was dead, but they just walked past him and took their unconcious friend by his feet and drug him away, laughing at their comrade's misfortune. "I would never believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes," A muffled voice said. "I'm glad I recorded it." Orinie spun around and found himself facing two Mandalorians, blasters in hand. He was getting ready to run when he saw they wore the colors of the Aliit Kerish. One held out his hand after putting his weapon away. "Zell Orinie?" He asked, Zell nodded, taking the outstretched hand. "Good. Papa Mulk called us and told us to find you. We're to take you to Sora to rejoin your friends. Oh, and congratulations on your dance. My wife told me about it. I'm sorry I missed it." Zell winced as the mandalorian taped a bacta patch to his side. "You should have seen it!" He told his companion. "The damn thing just fell over like the big bag of dung it was. I'll play it back for you in a minute. There," He said, finishing. "You're going to be very popular back on Dawn. First you land one very beautiful Twi'lek, then you knock a gamorrean out cold. I want to be the first to buy you a drink." "Thank you, but I can't drink. I'm part Ratataki, and alcohol will kill me." "Well, we'll just have to find something for you. Can't introduce you to my daughter, my wife would kill me. She was part of the crowd that watched your woman dance. She was very teary eyed about it. She's on the Runner right now." "How long will it take to get to Sora?" "We'll be dropping out of hyperspace around 0830. So you could get some sleep if you want. Or, you could tell us about yourself," The mandalorian slapped his helmet. "Where are my manners. I'm Heavy, he's Shot, and the ugly bastard flying this ship is Boom." They all removed their helmets. "Hey! You're..." Heavy held up his hand. "Don't say it! Call us by our names. call us Mando. You can even call us ugly. Just don't call us that." "I was just going to call you Sons of Jango." The three glanced at each other. "Sounds good to me," Heavy said with a smile. "Now tell us about yourself, Zell," And he did. Heavy sat behind Boom and Shot in one of the passenger seats in the Meesha's cockpit. Reaching over, he slapped both men on the back of the head. "Hey!" Shot said, looking at his brother. "What?" "I don't want to hear either of you Kowakian Monkey Lizards ever call him a kid or boy. He's earned the right to be called a man." Boom glanced over to Shot before turning back to Heavy. "You'll get no argument from us. He's been thrugh a lot. He has earned the right to be called a man." "I also learned something else from him before he went to sleep. Him and those two cuties on the Runner are Vell Orollie's kids." "What?" The two exclaimed as both turn to face him. "Are you kidding me?" Shot whispered. "Hey! He was doing his job, we were doing ours. We all fought like soldiers. We don't hold grudges." "I know Heavy," Boom said. "But it's just strange that we're heading to the planet where 15,000 of our brothers died fighting against the father of the man we have sleeping in the back. The three of us and one Jedi walked away." "Actually," Heavy said smiling. "I kind of remember carrying you, Boom, While Buir Pehn carried shot. We walked out." "And we're glad you did. Glad you called Buir Kal, too!" Shot said, mentioning one of the men who'd saved so many of their brothers, Kal Skirata. "What are you going to do when we get there?" Boom asked, suddenly serious. "I'm thinking about going to the battle site and singing a song for our brothers. The day after tommorrow will mark thirty years since the battle ended." Heavy nodded. "Sounds good to me. I'm also going to ask Buir Mulk why he hasn't adopted Zell yet. Because if he won't, I will." "I hear ya, Brother," They both said. This ends chapter four, Concord Dawn. Tomorrow I begin chapter five, Hyperspace, another short chapter.
