Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Thank you so much for this swell greeting and image, Marilyn. Love that spherical bush, frame house and picket fence. And I never thought I would get this far age wise after my torturous 2017.

I never got an ebot for this (or for several of your other recent uploads), and I"m really glad I came here and found it. This is one of Harry's many subjects---wild, commanding topiaries, often in front of homes. You couldn't have picked a more fitting example of it. Your angle---you appear to be under the beast, looking up---makes that big rounded bush seem like the blob that ate Cleveland, or else a bush that was fed a weeeeee bit too much food the night before, and is now in the process of taking over the house. (Like the parents are saying: "we TOLD you not to feed the bush! What did we say!!!") A real Marilyn photo. And great for Harry, as it's big, exuberant, very happy, and right out of his playbook! Happy Birthday again, Harry, and many, many more! Maybe this bush was an immigrant from your neighborhood! And wonderful dedi, Marilyn, for a man who turned 90 after a long, long year, and deserves this wonderful dedi.
