Description

I made this image for the October Carrara challenge at DAZ. I used Genesis 2 Female, with a lot of dial-spinning to make a unique character based on Ysabeau 6, the texture set is from Karma for G2F. It is lit with 3 mesh lights, and the skin is an Octane Specular/Glossy mix shader. Rendered using the Octane plugin for Carrara. Thanks for stopping by!

Poor girl ! Need to end the photo shoot now and give her a break.

Lovely pin up. Looks nice for G3F. I have struggled with the skin shader for Octane for more than a year. The next render I post (probably tomorrow) you can see what a year of tinkering the shader can do... My shader has gotten way too complicated but at least now I have started to get really nice results. Still how you light the scene matters a lot. Try to use white panels (Diffuse material) off camera to bounce light back on to the scene. Most of the times it helps.
