My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Great shot & I like your subtle use of the filter, Tara. The light bouncing off the pitted, scarred metal & the contrast with the dark background create a potent & very appealing effect...

Great detail. Your P.O.V. and post work makes this look monumental, even heroic, in a World War II sort of way. I can imagine a muscular shirtless fellow turning the wheel to advance the war effort.

This instantly reminded me of the Futurists, and then after I read Mark's comment, of the agitprop of the USSR. Magnificent !

This is absolutely delicious, Tara! Right now I'm salivating over that pump wheel.... I'd sell my soul for one of those.... Well, almost..
The lighting in this shot is beautiful!
