Fun and learning with Daz Studio, Iray, NGS2 & a lil bit o' Photoshop. HDRI image by macsix Wanted to make it look like photographer used fill flash to even out the lighting. Questions? fire them into the comments section. I'll try to answer. I'm very new to this whole Iray thingy.

Very nice. Enjoy experimenting as that is the way to learn. You may want to control the highlights on the skin a bit. What you have here is more of a wet look. But as she is dry, the skin needs to have less shine.

thanks for commenting. And thanks for the tip. I agree it is a wet look. I got the wet look quite accidentally and decided I liked it. As if the photographer was a novice and kept her out in the hot weather to long.

Wonderful! How did you get that nice wet look?

credit has to go to NGS2. (Anagenisis 2). It's a really nice bit of software on DAZ that makes skin adjustments much easier. It's not perfect and requires tweaking, but it got me up to speed really fast on skin settings, cuz I learn by seeing how vendors adjust skin settings. If you get NGS2, I can explain more. But what I did was accidental I think. Software has a setting to make lips glossy. I applied it to all skin.

Thank you for commenting. I enjoy sharing artwork much more here on Renderosity than on Deviantart. This community shares comments and critiques much better.

Thank you and your welcome. I was just happy to start getting a grip on iRay. At first it was like night and day from 3Delight engine.
