Description
This bridge is on US 101 south of Yachats. Below it is Cook's Chasm, which features a spouting horn - a tall blast of sea mist that shoots up periodically. It's kind of a watery version of Old Faithful, except that it erupts much more often - it seemed like about every 30 seconds to a minute while we were observing it. We just stopped at the highway turnout & didn't have time to take the path down to get a closer look, so the photos I took of it aren't really worth posting...

I've been over that bridge several times. I think it also might be the highest bridge in that state. I've always wanted to check it out, but there's been road repair all around it and all the equipment is in the parking lot!!
