Description

I was asked to post this again since the original post fell into a black hole or something. The original concept is by Roger Dean, and an entire series of paintings of this model can be found in his book "Magnetic Storm", along with the concept drawings and model sheets. I have this guy textured now so I'll post a new one soon.

nice work........a bit smooth, I mean if its a fighting machine I think it need some dirt and scratches on the texture. I really like the modeling.

Thanks HyperVox. I rendered it in Max with the regular scanline renderer with a GI setup.

A very poor adaption of Deans work. To yuse a quote you use very frequently "whats so great about this?"

well, talkingferret, other peeps on this forum would disagree, as would I. I am under no illusion of the quality of this work or my talent, and to put it bluntly, i kick ass, and your measley opinion means nothing to me.
