Shades of Alice in Wonderland with this cast of characters. Is that the Mad Hatter riding on top of that poor cat? In any event great work on the entire scene, including that forest and lake, Ute. My computer won't open PhotoDonut for installation because it says Photoshop does not recognize that application. So what do I do now?

I worked with Ricky when Lars passed away, so I knew his face immediately. (Actually, the way you rendered him, he looks like you took him out of a Rembrandt portrait! He would be happy to hear that, I'm sure!) You treated him very well in this Alice-in-Wonderland-like painting. I Love that he's riding a cat, and that angry mouse (or whatever that is) on the other side. More of your painterly and etched effects---you've really dived deep into these traditional techniques. And the colors are like old prints, for fairy tale books from the 1800s. Magical and packed; and the textures of the tree branches, and the outlines around the birds, etc, are wonderful.
