Oh, this is splendid. The erhu has a scratchy, wonderfully grabbing tone; but also a melancholic intimate tone. And your image captures it amidst an almost glowing-ivory surrounding, with a deep brownish undertone, beautiful flowers on the player's gown, and total grace and Chinese design-sense. She's in the middle, but you have hardly any symmetry (which would be a boring solution): The flowers and leaves jut in in all kinds of differing ways; and I love how huge they are, and the light you got in them. (As well as on the butterflies.) And her rigid pose---the classical musics of China and Japan can be just as formal as those of the Western tradition---is all grace and beauty in your hands. Even her headdress complements the ivory hues of the leaves and flowers. A wonderful piece of imagination, and another of your beautiful eye-striking designs, filled with grace and a true Chinese/Japanese touch...
