At random moments, in the corner of your eye you notice them. Narrow passages between buildings that went unnoticed. Dark doorways marked with abandoned numerals. A decrepit city sign from that bygone era - 13th Street it might say. Within these fissures the clocks have stopped or maybe they never started.

There are places away from the modern lights - on streets and alleys that have escaped the maps - where the old gods still hold sway.
