Description

This was a rendering in Vue of a scene depicting two Lockheed L-133 jet fighters in flight somewhere over Europe during the latter part of WWII. The plane itself never flew since it never went farther than illustrations and engineering drawings. If it had, it may very well have been the first US jet fighter and may have also entered service prior to the German's ME-262. As a "what if", I decided to paint both aircraft in this scene in late WWII USAAF paint schemes with invasion striping. Modeling of the plane was created in 3DS Max, the textures in Photoshop, and the final render in Vue after creating the dramatic clouds in the background.
