You are very kind; and right. The Bug had I think 63 HP in 1965. by the time the Bug got to 65 MPH, you would have had several safe times to jump out. With the GTO, By the time you might think of bailing, you would be doing 105.

I really wanted this car; then I walked into the Mercury dealership, and found a Hurst 429 Montego $900 cheaper than the comparable GTO. Loved that car, but I always wondered...What if...
