Description

Some armchairs, soon vailable on RR. - BOLIDE ARMCHAIR : typical artisanal design of the Art Deco style. Circa 1930 - KEM WEBER : American designer and architect (1889-1963). Many of his designs, such as the copper 'Zephyr' desk clock (1933), can be classified as 'Streamline Moderne'. 2 armchairs circa 1930 - LE CORBUSIER : Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier (1887–1965), was a Swiss-French architect, designer, painter, urban planner, writer, and one of the pioneers of what is now called modern architecture. The classic LC2 Armchair was designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in 1929. A perfect exemple of a "Modernist" and "Fonctionalist" design. - CHARLES RENNIE MACKINTOSCH (1868–1928) was a Scottish architect, designer, water colourist and artist. His artistic approach had much in common with European Symbolism. The Willow chair was designed in 1904. - GERRIT THOMAS RIETVELD Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (1888 –1964) was a Dutch furniture designer and architect. One of the principal members of the Dutch artistic movement called De Stijl, Rietveld is famous for his Red and Blue Chair and for the Rietveld Schröder House, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site The Red and Blue Chair is a chair designed in 1917. It represents one of the first explorations by the De Stijl art movement in three dimensions.
